Self Defense - Why Disguised Products Are Better

When John Burton invented his 'electric prod pole' back in the early 1930's he did it to help him herd his cattle around. One thing led to another and stun guns came of it. I'll tell you this, Mr. Burton never in his wildest imagination had in mind a stun gun that looks like a ballpoint pen and has over 1,000,000 volts.

That's what creativity does. When people see the need for a product they find a way to get them.

Most self-defense products are meant to disable an assailant for a short period of time to enable you to get away from a dangerous situation. Pepper sprays disable an assailant for up to 45 minutes by wreaking havoc with the body's respiratory system. It makes the eyes water so badly the assailant can't see. It makes his breathing nearly impossible and the pain-OMG the pain is severe!

Stun guns work by short-circuiting the body's muscular system making the body work fast enough to deplete all the blood sugars needed for energy. The effects can last for 5 to 10 minutes.

Both stun guns and pepper sprays are great at providing self-defense and personal safety.

In a recent government study it was discovered that nearly half of all robberies involved smart phones or cell phones. In some areas that number was even higher. So it comes as no surprise that cell phone stun guns are the number one selling stun device in the marketplace today. Imagine an assailant's surprise when he goes to steal your smart phone or your cell phone and you zap him with several million volts of electricity.

It is just a fact that disguised self-defense products outsell regular ones by a good margin. They are more popular than their non-disguised brothers because they're more effective in an assault situation. They provide the element of surprise to level the playing field against a would be assailant. They are all excellent in providing personal safety and personal security for your self-defense.

There are pepper sprays that are disguised as lipstick containers or pens. There's even a pepper spray contained in walking weights for exercising. Stun guns come disguised as ball point pens, flashlights and cell phones too.

If you're in the market for a product to defend yourself or a loved one, consider a disguised self-defense product. They are no more expensive and are just as easy to use and carry and will give you the added element of surprise in an assault.. After all, don't you need every little edge when you're in a dangerous situation? Disguised self-defense items are great for personal safety.
